I know I'm breaking blog rule #1,289 by blogging twice in one day - but this requires some immediate and serious attention. While at my sons' school PTA meeting I get a text from hubby saying our new computer fried. NO JOKE!!!! The kicker? He's blaming it on my blogging.
Any thoughts on this? I'm flipping out - he says the old computer died right after I started blogging and now this one. Could that be???????
No! That's NOT possible. If it were we'd all have our computers fried!

That's what I said!!-He's so frustrated because of his back issues and now the second computer to fry in less than a month. What the heck could it be though?!?
ReplyDeleteWOW! that's crazy! how is that possible? Id be calling the company right away!
ReplyDeleteNo way!! It's got to be something else! Hopefully you're still covered under some kind of warranty! There's no way it can be blogging...find some way to blame it on your kids!

I can't see how blogging would have anything to do with it. Is it overheating? I know you said you have a pc - is it a desktop or laptop? I'm using a laptop and have to have a fan thingie underneath it to keep it from overheating. Consider whether your computer is left on without being shutdown for long periods of time, is it near a heater? Just surfing the web and posting a blog should not fry a computer. But, having dealt with a cranky husband a time or two before, don't argue with him about it - just wait for the repairman to prove you right :)

Oh no!!! Holly, I sometimes think my hubby was wishing our computer would fry so I would stop blog stalking! I am sooooo sorry! I will say a prayer that it gets fixed! :(

I think it should be covered under a warranty, seems like it would be manufacture defect since it is very new still! Hope you can get it fixed!!
ReplyDeleteOH NO!!!! That's just scary to think about. And its a perfectly good reason to go and get a Mac. Just saying. Hang in there!

I wonder how much memory it has??? Overheating is another thing to look into....but no way is it blogging! Ha! ha! That cracks me up! ;) I can't wait to hear what the repair guy says! Hugs!

Oh, that's really a shame. It's hard to have two computers crash just within months. YIKES! Teeny and I agree, good reason to get a Mac, but in the meantime, I hope the repair warranty will take care of it. Best wishes!

So, what's up with the new CPU? We need updates, Holly!
ReplyDeleteVirus...sneaky 'ol virus. :(
ReplyDeleteLOL!!! My husband has back problems, too...and he can't blame our computer problems on the blogging cause he doesn't know!!! LOL!!!
ReplyDeleteHolly, same thing keeps happening to my computer! {and of course, everyone blames it on blogging!} I think...maybe it might be viruses that I get from downloading products from people {but I'll never admit that!} lol! Hope it is better...and I'm definitely saving up for a Mac!!
