I've got a sick boy at my house so I spent some time in my classroom today getting ready for a sub. {You just sighed for me didn't you??!}.  I'm breaking out like a teenager over here because of the stress.

    1. I soooo wish you could too! Lately I've had some humdingers in my room. Think the commute to Michigan would be too much?

  5. I like Kristin's idea. And I did sigh for you when you said you just got done making your sub plans. I was down at school doing the same. Hope your little guy is well soon.

  7. Well, I say get those report cards done! LOL, maybe in between or at least taking a few breaks you could clean something so you can sorta do both. Sorry your son is sick; I miss those days when my son was sick and I would stay out with him................now he is 12-13 in a month! Enjoy those days!~

  8. Don't clean, don't do laundry, don't do grade cards----you're home---cuddle up and have some bonding time (just pop in some vitamin C) :) Hope he gets well soon!!

  9. I agree...don't do either! We're allowed just ONE day of unproductiveness, right?

  10. Save paperwork for when he sleeps. I feel for you. My little ones get sick every other Sunday. It is so stressful. When you're home, you worry about school...at school, you worry about home. The working mother issues. xo

  11. Yeah ... everyone's right. I was going to say clean house first cause then you can concentrate on report cards but taking a day off sounds WAY better. Take care!

  12. I'd do the report cards because those HAVE to be done by a certain day...whereas the house can always wait another 24 hours. Or 48. Or a week. :-)

  13. Lots of great thoughts - HA! I think I'm going to multi-task...do a card, clean a toilet, cuddle a boy, repeat.

    Happy Monday Friends!
