Currently

I'm still in school.  My alarm goes off.

I'm only a little grouchy about that.

Just a little.

7 1/2 days...

In the meantime....

Currently....

I am going to grade those writing prompts. I am. Right now.  After I go eat a little something and after I watch the rest of the Bachelorette.  Then I will.  Do you all have writing prompts/assessments that you do for your district?  Do you happen to have a great rubric you use to score them that you'd care to share?  If so, send 'em my way @ hollywazy4@gmail.com.  Our rubric stinks to high heaven and I really wish we could find one that doesn't leave so much to the imagination.

Go link up with Farley!!!!!

  1. You poor thing! I can't believe you are still in school. You can feel better though because I will be so jealous when I am in school in August!

  9. First of all...Kristin, what? Writing is not assessed? HOW can that be?
Holly... I have a couple different writing prompts I can share with you. I'm reading this post a little late, though - so you probably already got quite a few. Email me if you want more. :D

  10. Wow I can't imagine still being in school! I hope you're out soon! And that you think of me when I'm going back at the beginning of August and you're still out (right? you do go back in September? cause if not that totally sucks!) By the way, never had to grade writing samples in first - had to include 4 in their permanent records, but no assessments, yay! Way too subjective for me so I'm glad I didn't have to!
